Sylvan Reserves
The nature lovers can enjoy a great amass of beauty, in a perfect harmony gathering all the relief forms. In the area there are famous and precious botanic and sylvan reserves such as The National Park Bucegi, established in 1943, the reserve Malaiesti, Gaura Valley, Ialomita Reserve with pine woods spread on a large area, also populated by aurochs. Zanoaga Reserve, a huge area covered with resinous woods. A special attraction is Babele (The Beldams) Reserve, protecting the relief forms created by the erosion (The Beldams, The Mushrooms, The Sphinx). There also are alpine vegetal associations like Omu Reserve and Vama Strunga, which is a paleontological reserve.
