The Artisans? Fair
The artisans? fair was the main attraction of the event. Most of the tourist went home with nice gifts representing the Romanian popular art from the majority of the country?s areas. The quality of the works, the variety and the original procedures of creation were a delight for the beauty lovers, amazed by the huge number of the objects: farming utensils (Gheorghe Fesa), whips (Fejer Carol), manual and moulding bells (Florin Maior), semiprecious stones (Mircea Stan), traditional Romanian hats (Dan Dadarlat, the only producer), pottery of Corund (Ioszef Molnos), carpets and rugs from Oltenia (Antoneta Nadu), masks and dolls (Elena Stefanschi).
In spite of the event?s success, tourists must know that Moieciu is more than the summer fair, all year long: outdoor hikes, equitation, ski and delicious gastronomy.
