Within August 31 and September 2nd , The Testing Field of Tarlungeni, 10 km distant from Brasov, hosted one of the most important electronic music festivals of Romania. Break beat, techno, drum?n?bass and electro tunes animated the first marathon-event ever organized in Brasov by Transilvania Expres Foundation and DTC Brasov. For three and three nights, 36 artists and producers mounted on the stage to exploit the 6 pickups, 3 projectors and the 40.000 W 3 mixers. The show included various sport contests ? skateboarding, biking, paintball), zorbing, graffiti and a trucks parade.
Romanian and foreign DJs
The DJ?s performance was the public?s delight. DJ Lucca, remarked since 2005 when she was invited to mix music at ?Dance Valley? Festival, was followed on stage by the British artist Dave Angel, whose big success was the remix of ?Sweet Dreams? play of the legendary band The Eurythmics, with an extraordinary impact in the Great Britain?s clubs. Another exciting moment was offered by Octave One band, a three artists American techno band, which best performance is the unique ability to generate real-time
music.
Graffiti, Skaters and Bikers
The graffiti contest attracted youths from both Romania and abroad. The graffers were very excited to have had the possibility to express them selves on the walls. Everyone got 15 sprays to create a graffiti inspired by the festival. Skaters and bikers also had their moment at the Festival.
