The meeting of the partners’ representatives of Thematic Trail Trigger project – ThreeT was hosted by Brasov County Council in Brasov County, in March 2019. Subject: thematic routes good practices presented by Brasov County in the second meeting of Interreg Europe project ‘Thematic Trail Trigger’. Four such good practices were identified. They will feed the Learning Platform of Public Policies in Interreg Europe Program – a data basis accessible to all people.
• Access to tourist destinations
‘ThreeT project began last year and will continue till November 2022. It focuses on the principle of cultural tourism sustainability and ecotourism and its objective is the increase of accessibility to the touristic destinations from the county, by developing public accessibility and non-motorized mobility policies (cycling routes, hiking etc.), protection of the natural patrimony and local economic-social development resulted from ecotourism’, declared Adrian Vestea, President of Brasov County Council.

‘The eight partners of the project presented the good practices for each region in March, in Brașov: Livorno Province as project leader (Italy), Tuscany Region (Italy), the Regional Council of Central Finland, the Planning Authority in Malta, Kujawsko Pomorskie County (Poland), the Local Government of Tenerife Isle, the Governmental Administration of Vas County (Hungary), the Regional Management Organization Hessen Central (Germany)’, declared Alina Szasz, ThreeT project manager.
• Routes’ network
Brasov County, next to the most relevant and active local partners, identified 4 such good practices, respectively: the network of eco-touristic routes from Poarta Carpaților (Moieciu), the thematic routes in Piatra Craiului National Park, the route connecting the Historical Centre and Rasnov Citadel and the hiking and cycling routes network in Transylvania Hilltops.
