The organizers have prepared a series of activities dedicated to children, but also to adults, drawing workshops, creation workshops, musical moments, art, architecture and photo exhibitions.
The official opening was in Transilvania University Theatre "Sergiu T. Chiriacescu". Architecture, design, restauration exhibitions were varnished, followed by a classical guitar concert with Chitaritmica band.

Medieval Fair

A medieval fair was organized at the Weavers? Tower. The surprises prepared for this festival were offered by knights and princesses together with folk ensembles of the ethnic groups living together, among which also the Greek.
The event also attracted many tourists because the Weavers? Tower offered a proper environment for such a medieval festival. The inhabitants of Brasov and tourists joined the medieval show, meant to awake the historical reality of the town and they have also joined the medieval suite with torches which walked this route: Weavers? Tower ? Sforii Street-Sfatului Square.

The Tower, a part of the borough

Built by the weavers? fellowship on four levels with holes for firing, black oil chops and two guarding towers, the Weavers? Tower has a unique architecture in South-Eastern Europe. Spared in the big fire in 1689, it is still preserved as originally.
It is more and more used for parties and especially for opera concerts because of its extraordinary acoustic qualities. In 1950, the Museum of Tara Barsei was arranged inside the tower, where the layout of the former citadel of Brasov and Schei is the same as it used to be at the end of the 17th century, as well as guns and products of the weavers? fellowship.
