"Delta din Carpati" (the Carpathian Delta) fishing festival

Delta din Carpati (Carpathian Delta) ? Doripesco is a protected natural area, Natura 2000 site and Ramsar site, placed in the Depression of Barsa, Brasov County. The Carpathian Delta ? Doripesco signifies, in the first place, the harmony of nature, and stood out as a national leader in organising sport fishing contests. Vadu Rosu base, having an exceptional fishing stock density, provides both traditionally fishing ponds and "catch and release" sport fishing ponds. The ponds are placed in a magnificent landscape and host the most important sport fishing contests.
Fishing tradition
This year, from September 4th to September 6th 2015, Doripesco organises the third edition of the "Carpathian Delta" Fishing Festival in the Brasov Council Square in order to promote the delicious fish specialties and to reveal the unique taste of fish to the fans of Doripesco products. During this entire period of time, a pavilion will be placed in the Council Square, where different specific dishes will be prepared: carp and trout brine, grilled carp and trout, fish chips, fish meatballs, fish mici (grilled minced meat rolls), fish sarmale (stuffed cabbage rolls), and other specialties.
Gastronomy and music
The entertainment will be provided by: Bosquito, Ducu Bertzi, Adrian Daminescu, Conexiuni, Coco Band, Sava Negrean Brudascu, Ion from Romania, Atomic.
Those who will be there will be able to participate in several contests: eating fish grilled rolls and meatballs, dancing, perspicacity contests, the winners being awarded with multiple prizes.
