Skating and Horse Riding
Those who want to skate can rent a pair of skates and slip down the ice on the skating rink from Poiana Brasov, near the holiday villages, on the skating rink of the sports centre Olimpia in Brasov, at the foot of the Postavaru Mountain or on the Olimpic Skating Rink from Tractorul Park, at the Sports Centre from Predeal resort or in other areas of the resorts.

Mountain Rescue
The Mountain Rescue Service from Brasov County carried out activities for accident prevention, improved the mountain tracks, removed the obstacles and performed earthworks in the difficult areas. For the tourists, the administrators of the sky runs, in collaboration with The Mountain Rescue, placed protection cushions on the sky runs, prepared the cable transportation equipment and provided the slopes with protection nets.
The Mountain Rescue Team was equipped with advanced specific equipment, walkie-talkies, and mobile phones, and was trained for the winter season 2014/2015.
