Twinning between the Cities of Brasov and Nuremberg
|
|
The twinning between Brasov and Nuremberg (Germany) cities was completed this year, after the officials of the two parties took the necessary steps in this respect some years ago. A commission made up of representatives of the County Council Brasov, the City Hall Brasov, businessmen and media travelled to Nuremberg. Here representatives of the General City Hall welcomed their coming to Nurnberg. On this occasion, the commission from Brasov visited the Airport and the Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Nuremberg. They also brought several stands with materials promoting the County of Brasov, as well as a stand with traditional Romanian gastronomic products made by the company LeFruMarin.
A Visit to the Airport
The members of the commission from Brasov went to the Airport in Nuremberg for the purpose of sharing experience in the field, considering that the construction of the Airport Ghimbav-Brasov is soon to be completed. The German party brought an expert who talked about the functionality of the airport and explained the strengths and weaknesses that had to be taken into account when dealing with this kind of investment. This experience sharing was more than necessary, since the professional knowledge came at the perfect time for the constructor of the Airport in Brasov.
German Consultancy
The representatives of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry Nuremberg had a discussion with the businessmen from Brasov, among which there were also economic agents, members of the German Economic Club. Each party presented their ongoing projects, but also their plans for the future. There was proper ground for collaboration and business development between the two parties. Moreover, the representatives of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry Nuremberg showed their interest in providing free consultancy to the companies from Brasov that intend to do business in Germany.
Appreciation for the Magazine "Inside Brasov"
The traditional Romanian gastronomic products displayed in an original manner at a formal meeting at the General City Hall of Nuremberg, turned out to be a success, after being tasted by the German officials. The company LeFruMarin welcomed the guests with palinka and made a unique representation of Brasov on the Romanian map built up of bacon.
The magazine "Inside Brasov" Romania had its own stand, being much appreciated by the German officials, but also by the Associations of Romanians settled in Germany. The books published by our team, via Miranda Publishing House, about the myth of Dracula and Bran Castle were also highly appreciated.
