Besides the editorial policy for promoting Brasov County in the EU, the team of Inside Brasov-Romania magazine has also carried out promotional activities for the publication both in the country and abroad. Among these, we mention: the distribution of the magazine at the Olympic Winter Festival of the European Youth (FOTE) 2013, carried out in the county of Brasov; the Fair of Traditional Products in Nurnberg, Germany, where the Romanian culinary treasure was exhibited; Oktoberfest Festival, where an important number of tourists participate; the distribution within projects of exploitation of the religious/cultural patrimony, especially in fortified churches and distribution in the mountainous resorts from the county of Brasov, considered to be the best destinations from Europe.
Capitalization of the moment
Recently, on the occasion of the official meeting for twinning Brasov with Nurnberg, at the Town Hall of Nurnberg, several stands with traditional Romanian products have been organized, but also with promotional materials for tourism in Brasov. Magazine Inside Brasov-Romania had a separate stand, appreciated by the German officials, but also by the associations of Romanians who left for Germany. The books published by our team, by Publishing House Miranda, about the myth of Dracula and Castle Bran enjoyed great success as well.
The snow stand
We mention a few special moments we have used as a good opportunity for the promotion of the county patrimony, but also for promoting our magazine: the snow stand, at the Olympic Winter Festival of the European Youth 2013, Predeal; Farsang, in Apata (with a covered wagon and horses with hats and trousers), characters with masks or mummies, Teutonic knights, troubadours and minstrels and bagpipers from Transylvania.
The editorial staff has managed to carry out a continuous activity of the magazine for 10 years, to promote the patrimony of the County of Brasov in Romanian, Hungarian, German and English, to promote traditions and customs of the Romanians, Hungarians and Germans living in these areas and to put magazine Inside Brasov-Romania in the cultural local, national and international context.
"We would like to congratulate Inside Brasov-Romania team and we do hope this magazine will contribute furthermore to the promotion of cultural-historical patrimony, in the context where Brasov wishes to be the first touristic county in the country and the city stands for the title of European Cultural Capital in 2021. Happy Birthday, Inside Brașov!" declared Aristotel Cancescu, the President of the County Council Brasov.
