Predeal resort, considered the pearl of the Romanian tourism, is a spectacular location, with attractive climate, no pollution and with the highest solarization on Prahova Valley. There are many possibilities for recreation here, programs and trips for tourists.

Valea Timisului (Timisului Valley)
Between Predeal and Brasov, Valea Timisului is crossed by the National Road 1 ? E 60, along which there are resorts Timisul de Sus and Timisul de Jos, both belonging to Predeal.
Timisul de Sus, located in Timis Depression, is the start point for tracks from Postravarul and Piatra Mare. Attraction points for tourists: Tamina Waterfall, gorges and waterfall in calcareous rocks, made up of five spectacular waterfalls on the valley of Piatra Mica.
Timisul de Jos also includes the chalet from Dambul Morii. Attraction points for tourists: "Şapte Scări" (Seven Stairs) Canyon, 160 m gorges sculpted in limestone by brook Sipoaia, including seven waterfalls, the highest being of 35 m.
Paragliding
Extreme sports fans can go to Valea Timisului where there is an area for paragliding - Culmea Bunloc (Bunloc Peak). During the last years, the area has become very popular for paragliding fans. A chairlift goes up in Bunloc.
The Flight Festival, XC competition, fixed point, ParaBunloc are organized this year, in June 21st ? 23rd, an event attracting hundreds of participants.
One-day trips
The Centre for Tourist Information and Promotion Predeal organizes more trips than ever: the tour of town Brasov (4 -5 hours), Citadel Rasnov ? Bran Castle, the Ethnographic Museum ? Dambovicioara Cave (one day), Citadel Fagaras ? Monastery Sambata de Sus (one day), Peles Castle and Monsatery Sinaia (5 ? 6 hours), the medieval Citadel Sighisoara (one day), the National Park Piatra Craiului, Zarnesti, visiting the "Lupărie" and the bear hunting stands with the camera (one day) and the Hunting Museum Posada, with a stop at the grave of Badea Cârţan (4 ? 5 hours).
